Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The rain and fog made for a less than perfect day of fishing. The winds started east in the morning and turned west around noon. The temperature was in the lower 60’s.

The fishing was very slow from the beach today. The sharks were everywhere today. In Avon there was sea-mullet. From Buxton the speckled trout were biting. From the beach in Frisco there was black drum, speckled trout, small blues, and a few flounder. Around the pier there was some puppy drum caught also.

No boats fished inshore today.

Offshore slowed down today due to weather but the blackfin and yellowfin tuna were biting. There was king mackerel caught also.
