Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was rainy off and on.  We had north-east winds at 10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

Up on the Avon beaches there were sea mullet and bluefish caught.  The Buxton beaches had some pompano and sea mullet reported.  Over on the Frisco beaches sea mullet and bluefish were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach one guy said he caught some nice speckled trout today.

The inshore boats had a nice catch of puppy drum and a few speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.  The spanish mackerel and bluefish bite was good around Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats had good gaffer dolphin fishing and some black fin tuna.  Some pretty decent sailfish action today along with some nice groupers being caught.
