Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had periods of rain with warmer temperatures.  We had south-east winds at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches there were sea mullet caught.  The Buxton beaches had some bluefish on lures and sea mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beaches sea mullet and flounder were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach some spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.

The inshore boats had a nice catch of puppy drum, gray trout and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had many billfish bites with 3 blue marlin, 4 sailfish and a white marlin released today,  There were decent gaffer dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna. A nice grouper was also caught which is pictured below caught off the “Good Times” charter boat.
