It was another hot and humid day for the books, we hit a high of 87F.  Light south-east breezes this morning, switching to the south-south-west this evening and kicking the winds up a bit, around 10-15 with higher gusts.

The beaches were packed today.  Along with the sun tanners and swimmers, there were some surf fishing and some fish caught.  Avon beach reports spot, croaker, sea mullet and small bluefish.  Buxton is reporting some sea mullet.  Frisco had some croaker and spot.  Hatteras had some spot, croaker and sea mullet.

The inshore boats had good catches of bid drum and spanish mackerel.

The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, scattered blackfin and some bottomfish.  There was one sailfish and one blue marlin.
