Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful day again today. There was a few clouds around today which made for perfect temperatures in the lower 80’s. Winds were calm from the North for most of the day turning South-East late in the afternoon.

Good fishing from the beach today. In Avon there was sea-mullet, spot, and croaker biting off the beach. From the pier there was sea-mullet, black drum, bluefish, and small flounder. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel and sea-mullet caught. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet biting. Hatteras beach had croaker, bluefish, sea-mullet, and small flouder.

Inshore today the fishing was great. The spanish mackerel and bluefish were biting good. In the sound there was a fair speckled trout bite and a good red drum bite with keepers and some larger class fish being released.

Offshore today there was good fishing. Dolphin, wahoo and black-fin tuna were biting. A blue marlin was released today. Bottom fishing was good today also with grouper and tilefish being caught.
