Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly sunny with calm winds. The winds were from the north switching to the south-east late in the day at 5-8 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.
With this low pressure moving through the ocean is rough and dirty. Only some scattered sea mullet were reported on the Buxton and Frisco beaches.
The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish just outside Hatteras Inlet today. A few speckled trout were also caught in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had scattered catches of black fin tuna, dolphin and a barracuda. A sialfish was released aboard the “Sea Creature” today.
