Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast and windy with scattered rain throughout the day. The winds were from the north-east at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
The fishing was a little slow but there were some fish caught. Around Cape Point in Buxton flounder, spanish mackerel and some bluefish were reported. Sea mullet and pompano were caught on the Frisco beach. Down on the Hatteras breach a few puppy drum were caught.
The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish just outside Hatteras Inlet today. They had good puppy drum and bluefish catches in the Pamlico Sound.
No boats fished offshore today.
