Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had temperatures in the mid 80’s and the winds were out of the southwest. We have a front pushing through this evening bringing in some storms.
Avon Pier and beaches are reporting puppy drum, spanish, bluefish and pompano. Sea mullet and bluefish are scattered about the beaches from Buxton to Hatteras, with the occasional pompano mixed in. There were also a couple of puppy drum caught on the sound side this morning in Frisco.
The inshore boats had good puppy drum fishing and some cobia.
The offshore boats caught dolphin, triggerfish, wahoo and blackfin tuna. There was also a white marlin boated.
