High today reached 80. Winds have varied today but they’re currently out of the WSW around 5mph. We had some bigger gusts early this morning causing the offshore boats to stay tied to the docks. Tomorrow is going to be just as warm, if not warmer, and have a little less wind.
We heard of Speckled Trouts being caught in the sound and Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, and Bluefish being caught in the surf.
Inshore boats came back with Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Cobia. There was even a citation sized Speck.
May not have gotten as much of a fishing report today but the beaches have been packed all day long. There’s tons of people and tons of traffic. Be mindful of your speed and those around you when traveling this Memorial Weekend.

Yamamoto 6 inch Senko Worm
If there’s been one lure that has changed the face of fishing over the years, it’s the Yamamoto Senko. With its wide range of uses and subtle natural action, the Yamamoto Senko has quickly become a favorite with anglers all over the world. The beauty of the Senko is in it’s simplicity. The Yamamoto Senko may just look like a thick round plastic worm but the fall rate created from the large amount of salt impregnated in the body drives fish mad. When rigged weightless the Yamamoto Senko falls horizontally with a seductive side to side tail action. Try wacky rigging or texas rigging the Yamamoto Senko and experience the versatility and effectiveness it provides.
