As of 6:30-7:00pm the side roads off of Old Lighthouse in Buxton have started to flood. So the Cape Hatteras Motels are likely not far behind.

    Offshore: Offshore boats caught Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and some bottom fish over the last couple days. Releases included Blue Marlin and Sailfish.

    Today was partly cloudy with intermittent sunshine. The high was 81 while the low was 75 with light to strong winds. Gusts up to 20mph. Currently it’s 79, feels like 86, with S winds around 6mph. Tomorrow’s temps should be about the same again. Winds will be switching directions slightly to the SSW/SW.

    Sound: Bluefish

    Inshore: Inshore boats brought in Bluefish, Red Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout.

    Offshore: Offshore parties came back to the docks with Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, and Wahoo. Also had some Triggerfish. There’s over a hundred boats fishing the tournament and there were many Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Sailfish released.
