• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    We had a nice day for weather today. Little chilly but we ended up with an overall temperature of 61F. Winds tonight are out of the South this evening around 8mph. Sunny day to start off tomorrow with some clouds rolling in for the afternoon. So far looks like a high temperature of 68F.

    Slower day today off of the surf. Some scattered Sea Mullet from ramp 48 on down.

    Large Scalloped Hammerhead caught by our Luke Beard late this afternoon off of ramp 49. Estimated to be 11ft and change. Hell of a catch, congrats Luke!!

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Today saw some mixed weather with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 72F. Chance of showers moving in after midnight. Winds are picking up out of the SW at 29mph. Looks like we will have a cloudy morning on Sunday with skies clearing in the afternoon.

    Fishing slowed a bit today. Only saw some puppy Drum caught near the point this morning. Doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. Come on in and grab some bait and give it a try.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Rolling into the weekend with a pretty day. Sunny with a high temperature of 66F. Cloudy skies this evening with some possible strong thunderstorms late. Winds are out of the South right now at 9mph. Looks like a cloudy day in store for tomorrow with a high of 70F.

    Outstanding day for Drum fishing here on the island. Reports came in from Avon to Hatteras. Plenty caught here right off of ramps 48 and 49. Lots of fresh Mullet came in the shop this afternoon!

    Couple of inshore boats out of Hatteras went out today and caught plenty of Red Drum. Few citations as well.

    Not a bad day today. Started off with showers and ended up sunny with a high temperature of 70F. Another nice day on tap for tomorrow with a storms rolling in late. Winds are out of the West tonight at 11mph.

    Puppy Drum were being caught on the island with a couple of small sharks at the point earlier.

    Nice day to hit the beach and relax or fish. High temperature for today was 66F. Winds tonight are out of the South at 9mph. Slight chance of rain showers throughout the day tomorrow.

    The Drum are biting! Puppy Drum were caught from Avon through Hatteras. Big Drum were biting at the point this evening on metal spoons.
