The high was 72 while the low was 66 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 20mph today. Currently it’s 63, feels like 62, with E winds around 6mph. Tomorrow winds should be light to gentle and temps will be about the same as today’s. Chance of rain in the afternoon.

The high was 72 while the low was 64 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 28mph today. Currently it’s 70, feels like 69, with SW winds around 9mph. Gusts around 20mph. Tomorrow the temps and winds will be similar. Winds will be light to moderate from the SW. Blowtoads, Sea Mullet and Sharks reported from Hatteras. Flounder and Red Drum reported from Avon to Frisco.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report
April 15, 2024
The high was 70 while the low was 66 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 32mph today. Currently it’s 66, feels like 61, with SW winds around 11mph. Gusts around 22mph. Tomorrow winds will be slightly decreased and switching directions. Temps will be about the same. Radar is clear. With less wind hopefully we’ll get a report from the inshore and offshore boats. Today, like many recent days, the sharks have been thick. Most shark reports have been from Buxton to Hatteras while the other are scattered across the island.

The high was 70 while the low was 57 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 36mph today. Currently it’s 61, feels like 60, with W winds around 4mph. Tomorrow’s winds should be light to gentle in the morning before picking back up again for the evening. Temps will be quite similar, starting out in the mid-50s and getting up to 70. Radar is clear. With lighter winds maybe we’ll see some offshore reports!
