    Warm one today with a high temperature of 86F. Winds are out of the SW at this hour at 17mph. More of the same weather tomorrow with a chance of a stray shower later in the day.

    Spanish Mackerel in Avon and Buxton this evening.

    Sea Mullet here in Frisco.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras caught Wahoo and Dolphin.

    Inshore boats did well with Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

    Happy Saturday! Welcome to all our visitors that arrived today. It was a beautiful day here with a high temperature reaching 84F. That along with winds out of the SE at 9mph made for a perfect beach day.

    Mixed bag of fish caught off the surf today with reports of Croaker, Sea Mullet and Pompano. Spanish and Blues early this morning.

    Plenty of Dolphin some Wahoo and a few King Mackerel rounded out the offshore trips today.

    Inshore trips produced Speckled Trout, Red Drum and some Blues

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Coming to the end of another week and the weather did not disappoint. We had a sunny day with a high temperature of 82F around noon today. Cooled down a bit tonight with winds out of the NE at 14mph. Looks like more of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

    Avon beaches had a mixed bag of Sea Mullet, Croaker, Pompano and a few Bluefish.

    We had some nice Pompano caught here at the south end of 49 this afternoon.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras caught some decent Wahoo and scattered Dolphin.

    Inshore boats again had catches of Speckled Trout and some Red Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Day started off with some heavy rain but the sun came out for the afternoon and evening. Our high temperature of the day topped off at 84F. Winds right now are out of the SW at 14mph. Looks like another pretty day on tap for tomorrow with a chance of a stray shower.

    Hopefully anglers will have a better day tomorrow after being washed out earlier today. It has been quiet here in the shop.

    Rodanthe Pier- nice King Mackerel caught near sunset

    Offshore had a scattered Dolphin bite but a good day for Wahoo. Some bottom fish were also caught.

    Inshore boats are still doing really good with Speckled Trout and keeper Red Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Rain on and off today with a high temperature of 78F earlier. Possibility of some showers tomorrow morning as well. Winds are out of the West this evening at 8mph.

    Rodanthe Pier- Croakers, Spanish Mackerel, Sea Mullet, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass and Flounder

    Sea Mullet and Pompano off the Avon beach tdoay.

    Slow going here in Frisco off of the surf.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras had a good day with Dolphin, Wahoo and a few bottom fish.

    Inshore boats that went out were on the Speckled Trout and found some slot Red Drum.
