    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Unpredictable weather today. Rain on and off earlier today made it a mess here. Our high temperature ended up at 75F. Winds are out of the SW at 18mph at this time.

    Quiet day here off the surf because of the weather. I tried fishing ramp 43 and 49 today and it was rough.

    No offshore or inshore reports today

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Weather here on this end of the island couldn’t make up its mind today. Looked like rain but it held off. Tomorrow looks like a different outcome. Calling for rain most of the day tomorrow and into Saturday. Our high temperature reached 81F and a bit muggy. Winds right now are out of the South at 21mph.

    Rough winds made for a challenging day off the surf. Not much to report.

    Some Speckled Trout were caught in the sound in Avon and Frisco that we saw.

    Offshore boats that diid venture out today brought back some Dolphin, Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna.

    Inshore boats caught more Speckled Trout and puppy Drum.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Not a bad day here in Frisco. We had a few showers roll through this afternoon but ended up with a decent day and a high temperature of 79F. Right now we have winds out of the South at 18mph. More rain moving in late tonight and early tomorrow.

    Here’s what we’ve got going on:

    Sea Mullet up in Avon

    Pompano caught in Buxton.

    Saw some Pompano caught in Hatteras

    Lots of nice size Speckled Trout caught in the sound today.

    Offshore boats picked up some Dolphin, Wahoo and a couple Blackfin Tuna.

    Release caught and released a Blue Marlin

    Inshore boats had a nice day catching Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Bluefish and some Red Drum.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Beautiful, but cool day to be here on the island. High temperature for the last day of May was 66F. Looks like we have winds out of the East right now at 10mph.

    Rodanthe Pier- Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spot, Spanish Mackerel and Puppy Drum

    Avon Pier-Bluefish and Puppy Drum

    Lots of Sea Mullet caught in Avon earlier today

    Strong Speckled Trout bite in the sound again today.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras made it out and had a good day with Dolphin.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Our high temperature today was 68F. Cloudy with a bit of rain. Winds are out of the North right now at 18mph. Looks like a nicer day on tap for tomorrow.

    With the rain there was not a lot reported.

    Still some nice Speckled Trout caught in the sound from Avon to Frisco.

    Nice Sea Mullet caught here off of ramp 49.

    No offshore report today
