Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Closing in on the end of March and we had an outstanding day for weather and fishing! Today’s high temperature was 71F with winds out of the SE right now at 13mph.

Haven’t heard much from Avon at this point.

There were some puppy Drum and sharks caught at the point today.

Lots of Sea Mullet, Blowtoads and some Black Drum here off of ramp 49.

Bluefish off of ramp 55 in Hatteras today.

One boat went out inshore today and did well with puppy Drum.

Nice day to enjoy the beach today. We had a high temperature of 59F with winds out of the East at 9mph. Looks like it’s going to warm up a bit tomorrow.

Avon beaches reported puppy Drum and Black Drum being caught.

Sharks at the point.

Here in Frisco we had anglers catching Croaker and Sea Mullet. Shrimp has been the hot bait.

Bit of an overcast day here in Frisco with a high temperature of 67F. Winds are picking up right now and are out of the SW at 33mph.

Small sharks and some puppy Drum here in Frisco.

One of our customers, Owen Reynolds caught a nice citation size Red Drum today at the point. Measured in at 44 inches. Nice job Owen!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful day here on the island! We had a high temperature of 70F this afternoon. Right now we have some heavy thunderstorms moving through. Winds are out of the SW at 12mph.

There were some Sea Mullet and Blowtoads caught here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

Scattered puppy Drum were also reported from Avon to Hatteras.

One boat went offshore today out of Hatteras. Calypso brought back some Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore and one King Mackerel.
