• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The temperature was 80F. Winds were 11-15mph SSW.

    There have been citation Drum caught at the Inlet every night this week. There was a couple citation Pompano weighed in the shop today. Sea Mullet was also caught on South beach.

    The offshore fleet had extensive catches of gaffer Mahi as well as some Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfiin Tuna, and Wahoo. Blue Marlins were also seen and a Sailfish was released.

    A few inshore boats went out and caught some Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

     

    The temperature was 82F. Winds dropped out to around 12mph SSW.

    There have been citation Drum caught at the Inlet every night this week.

    The offshore fleet was held to the dock today due to rough weather offshore.

    A few inshore boats went out and caught some Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Drum.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The high for today was 70F.

    Wind made the surf fishing a little rough today but there were still fish to be caught. Reports of mullet up and down the beach. We had a citation pompano weighed in there at the shop this afternoon.

    Offshore had reports of yellow fin tuna and blackfin.

    No inshore report today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The high for today was 72F.

    Not much to report from the surf today, wind made the conditions a little rough. There were some reports of sea mullet up and down the island.

    Only a couple of boats ventured offshore today. Yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, mahi and wahoo were reportedly caught here in Hatteras.

    No inshore report today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The high for today was 78F. Winds were 6-11mph South-Southwest.

    Nothing was reported from the surf today. But there have been great catches of citation Pompano and Sea Mullet over the past week.

    The offshore fleet caught Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, a few gaffer Dolphin, and King Mackerel. As well as White and Blue Marlin.

    Inshore boats had catches of Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Cobia, and Bluefish.
