    Today’s high was 88F. Hazy, hot and humid!

    Nothing to report here in Frisco off of the beach today.

    We did have one citation Speckled Trout weighed here at the shop this evening by customer William Smith from Buxton. 5 pound, 11 ounces!

    The inshore boats out of Hatteras reported catches of Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel and Sea Bass.

    The offshore fleet fared well with Dolphin, Triggerfish and Sea Bass.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today’s high was 86F. Another hazy, hot and humid July day here on the island…!

    Sea Mullet and some Croaker caught here off of ramp 49 today.

    The reports of fishing from Hatteras were a little slower today.

    Inshore boats still did good on Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish

    The offshore fleet did well with Dolphin. One Blue Marlin was caught and released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

     

    It was a gorgeous day here on the Island..! Hope everyone got out and enjoyed our beaches as much as possible!

    Today’s high was 85F, with a SW wind at around 20mph.

    We heard of Sea Mullet being caught from Avon south to Hatteras with a few Pompano scattered in here at Ramp 49.

    Our inshore fleet out of Hatteras today did well on Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel again.

    The offshore fleet were on the billfish today! They also brought back catches of Dolphin and Wahoo. Bottom fishing was good as well with Triggerfish, Snapper and Grouper.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

     

    Today we had a high of 87F with winds 19mph ENE.

    Nothing was reported into the shop today but before this rain anglers were catching citation Pompano and Sea Mullet off the beaches. \\\Pedestrian access is now open to the tip of Cape Point.///

    The inshore fleet out of Hatteras did well today with Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    Most of the offshore fleet was held to the dock today due to wind conditions. One boat made it out of Hatteras Harbor and fished along the beach catching Spanish and Bluefish.

    Today we had a high of 84F with winds 13-17mph SSE. We had scattered rain throughout the day from a forming storm cell.

    Nothing was reported into the shop today but before this rain anglers were catching citation Pompano and Sea Mullet off the beaches. \\\Pedestrian access is now open to the tip of Cape Point.///

    The inshore fleet out of Hatteras did well today with Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    The offshore fleet caught Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi, Grouper, and a number of Sailfish.
