    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the high 80’s. Winds were SW at 10-15mph. There is a low pressure off of the coast of Florida that is moving NE at 5-10mph, it has a low possibility of formation.

    South beach is rough due to the strong Southwest wind. There was a report of Pompano being caught as well as a Skate on Fishbites.

    The inshore fleet caught Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Red Drum, and Cobia.

    The offshore fleet stayed at the dock today due to weather.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

     

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the mid 80’s and winds picked up throughout the day to 15mph from the SSW..

    Hatteras had reports of 15-17″ flounder at ramp 55 on white grubs.

    The inshore fleet caught: Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, King Mackerel, and Spanish Mackerel.

    The offshore fleet caught Mahi and Wahoo with 2 Sailfish releases., Bottom fishing pulled up: Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper, and Tilefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

     

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the mid 80’s and winds out of the southwest 5-10 mph.

    Avon is reporting spanish mackerel, spot and sea mullet today.  Buxton is reporting spanish mackerel and plenty of ribbon fish at the Point on the beach and from boat, along with some bluefish.  Frisco and Hatteras are reporting sea mullet.

    The inshore boats caught speckled trout, gray trout and bluefish.  The boats that fished nearshore caught spanish mackerel, bluefish and king mackerel.

    The offshore boats had a good mix of dolphin, wahoo, blackfin tuna, grouper and sea bass.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had rain, yet again this morning, the sun started peeking out around lunchtime and the rain ceased.  The temperature was around 84º and the winds were out of the southwest 6-12 mph.

    There have not been any reports as of yet. Folks started buying bait and licenses once the sun came out and the rain stopped.  Will post tomorrow if anything was caught.

    The inshore and offshore fleet stayed at the dock due to weather.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had rain again which has cooled temperatures off into the low 80s. Winds blew out of the southwest between 9-12mph.

    At Cape Point Spanish Mackerel and Blues were reported. Hatteras had reports of Blues and Flounder.

    The inshore boats had good catches of Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    The offshore fleet stayed at the dock due to weather.
