• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today the temperature reached 90º, with a high heat index around 100º.  The winds were out of the southwest direction, blowing between 10-15 mph.

    There’s not much happening right today with a continuous southwest wind.  It’s been a little rough down our way lately.  The northern beaches have been catching sea mullet, bluefish and croakers.  Down in Hatteras they had been catching spanish mackerel, bluefish, sea mullet and sharks.

    The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel, bluefish and some trout.

    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the high 80s, with a high heat index around 100F. Winds blew out of the West-Southwest at 13mph.

    There was a couple of just shy of citation sea mullet caught down at the inlet, along with some sheepshead, spanish mackerel and bluefish.

    The inshore boats caught Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Clams, and Sharks.

    The offshore fleet does not have a report.

    Today we had temperatures in the high 80s, with a high heat index around 103F. Winds blew out of the Southwest at 15mph.

    No beach report for today

    The inshore boats caught Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout. Some small Puppy Drum.

    The offshore boats came back to the docks Mahi, Wahoo, Sea Trout, Bluefish, Speckled Trout. One boat released 2 Sailfish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the high 80s, but with a relatively low humidity. Winds picked up as the day went on to around 13mph from the SSW.

    Ramp 45 had some Spanish caught last night.

    The inshore boats caught Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Black-Tip Sharks, and Spanish Mackerel

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with bailer Dolphin, Wahoo, scattered Blackfin Tuna, and a few King Mackerel .

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high right at 90º, but with the high humidity, it felt around 100°.  We had light southwest breezes.

    Avon is reporting spanish mackerel, croaker and sea mullet.  Buxton is reporting pompano, sea mullet and spanish mackerel. Frisco is reporting some sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had some spanish mackerel.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and some keeper flounder.

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with dolphin, tilefish, wahoo, triggerfish, snapper and blackfin tuna.  There was a sailfish and blue marlin released today.
