    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was hot and humid. We had temperatures in the high 80s low 90s.  The winds were WSW-SSW at 6-11mh. Sea Surface temps off Cape Point were between 79-82F

    High tide: 4:08 am, 4:50 pm   and    Low tide: 10:24 am, 11:03 pm

    Over the last few days fishing has been scrappy with a few catches of: Pompano, Sea Mullet, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and even a 18” Stripper.

    Inshore boats had catches of: Spanish, Blues, and slot Red Drum.

    The offshore boats had catches of Mahi and a Blue Marlin.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was hot and humid. We had temperatures right at 80F.  The winds were out of the northwest this morning around 10 mph, switching to the northeast this evening.

    Avon Pier is reporting bluefish, sea mullet and pompano.  Avon beach is reporting sea mullet and pompano. Buxton and Frisco is reporting sea mullet.  Hatteras is reporting bluefish.

    Inshore boats had catches of: Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    The offshore boats had good gaffer dolphin catches, blackfin tuna and wahoo.  Those that bottomfished caught triggerfish, tilefish and grouper.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the mid 80s. Winds dropped on out from 12-4 mph from the SW. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point is around 77-80.

    High tide: 1:30 am, 2:17 pm  and  Low tide: 8:09 am, 8:06 pm

    On the beach between Buxton and Avon Spanish Mackerel was caught.

    Inshore boats had catches of: Spanish Mackerel, Grey Trout, Sea Mullet, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    The offshore fleet caught: gaffer Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo with a Sailfish release.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the low to mid 80s with a UV index of 10. Winds were 4-10 mph from the ESE. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point is around 75F.

    High tide: 0:39 am, 1:20 pm  and  Low tide: 7:20 am, 7:04 pm

    We weighed a citation 2 1/2lb Pompano caught off ramp 49. 

    Inshore boats had catches of: citation Red Drum, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Black Drum. There have been schools of Sheepshead spotted around the Inlet. 

    The offshore fleet caught: gaffer Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Triggerfish with 2 Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the mid to high 80s with a UV index of 10. Winds were 8-11 mph from the WSW dropping out to around 5 mph later in the afternoon. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point in between 70-74F.

    High tide: 12:24 pm  and  Low tide: 6:30 am, 6:07 pm

    Inshore boats had catches of: slot Drum, over slot Drum, Bluefish, Cobia near shore, and a few Flounder.

    The offshore fleet caught: gaffer Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo
