    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the high 80s, but with a relatively low humidity. Winds picked up as the day went on to around 13mph from the SSW.

    Ramp 45 had some Spanish caught last night.

    The inshore boats caught Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Black-Tip Sharks, and Spanish Mackerel

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with bailer Dolphin, Wahoo, scattered Blackfin Tuna, and a few King Mackerel .

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high right at 90º, but with the high humidity, it felt around 100°.  We had light southwest breezes.

    Avon is reporting spanish mackerel, croaker and sea mullet.  Buxton is reporting pompano, sea mullet and spanish mackerel. Frisco is reporting some sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had some spanish mackerel.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and some keeper flounder.

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with dolphin, tilefish, wahoo, triggerfish, snapper and blackfin tuna.  There was a sailfish and blue marlin released today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high of 91F, with a relatively high humidity. The winds were out of the southwest, 5-8 mph.

    There are reports of spot, croaker, sea mullet, pompano, bluefish and spanish mackerel being caught from Rodanthe down to Hatteras.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and had some red drum releases.

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with dolphin, tilefish, wahoo and grouper.  The nearshore boats had catches of  snapper and sea bass.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the upper 80s with a relatively high humidity. The winds stayed down in the single digits 5-9mph from the WSW.

    There are reports of Sea Mullet and Pompano being caught at 49 and 55.

    The inshore boats caught Blues, Spanish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder.

    Offshore caught: MAhi, a few Wahoo, and a few Blackfin Tuna. Bottom fishing produced nice catches of Vermillion Snapper. Two Sailfish were released.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had temperatures in the upper 80s with a low humidity. We had sustained winds of 15mph from the WSW, gusting to 24mph.

    There was a nice size Red Drum caught on ramp 49 this morning.

    One inshore boat braved the winds and caught Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel.

    One boat from the offshore fleet also braved the winds and caught a nice sized Mahi.
