Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures in the upper 80s with a low humidity. Winds picked up to around 15mph from the SSW.

There have been reports of Spanish being caught in Avon and Frisco.

The inshore boats had: Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Flounder.

The offshore fleet had catches of Mahi and Wahoo. There were 2 Sailfish releases as well. Bottom fishing included: Grouper, Tilefish, Triggerfish, and Black Sea Bass.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures in the low 90s with a high humidity. Winds were a light 4-7mph from the ENE switching to due South in the afternoon.

There was a 2lb 6oz citation Pompano caught on 49.

The inshore boats caught some Spanish today.

The offshore fleet had catches of Mahi with some Blackfin. 2 Sailfish were released.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures in the mid 80’s. The winds were coming from the southwest at 8-17mph. We had rain showers this morning and some thunderstorms moving in this evening.

There were some spanish mackerel caught in Avon today. Buxton had sea mullet. Hatteras had some spanish mackerel, bluefish and pompano.

The inshore boats caught some bluefish today.

The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures in the upper 80’s. The winds were coming from the southwest at 10-16 mph.

There were some spanish mackerel caught in Avon today. Buxton and Frisco had sea mullet. Hatteras had some spanish mackerel, bluefish and pompano. Pictured below is Justin Rowels with a nice sea mullet, just shy of a citation, caught at Ramp 49 today.

The inshore boats caught some trout today.

The offshore boats had catches of gaffer and bailer size dolphin. There was also a blue marlin released.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had temperatures bouncing around in the 80s with a relatively low humidity. The winds stayed a warm SSW around 12mph, gusting around 20mph.

Anglers have been catching the usual fish for this time of year including: Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Croaker, Trout, and puppy Drum.

The inshore fleet stayed at the dock due to weather

The offshore boats fished a 1/2 -3/4 day due to weather but still had good catches of Mahi.
