    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with temperatures in the high 70s. Winds picked up throughout the day to 10mph from the SSW. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point is between 69-73F.

    High tide: 11:33 am, 11:50 pm  and  Low tide: 5:42 am, 5:16 pm

    Citation Sea Mullet and Pompano were caught off Frisco along with Spanish and Blowtoads. We weighed in a 62lb citation Cobia this afternoon. Avon had catches of Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Spot. Hatteras had reports of Bluefish.

    Inshore boats had catches of: King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, and Cobia.

    Offshore fleet had: Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and Snapper.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds were 9-11 mph out of the ENE. Sea surface temperatures off the Point were between 70-73 F.

    High tide: 10:44 am, 11:03 pm  and  Low tide: 4:54 am, 5:16 pm

    At ramp 48 there were 2 citation Sea Mullet caught.

    Inshore boats had catches of Spanish Mackerel, Grey Trout, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.

    Offshore fleet had gaffer Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Triggerfish, Snapper, and 2 Sailfish releases

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was windy with cooler temperatures.  The winds were form the north-west switching to the north east at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
    Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches there were sea mullet and bluefish reported.  Over on the Frisco beach some sea mullet, bluefish and some nice pompano including this 2 lb 6 oz pompano caught by Eric Kwiatkowski of Hanover PA right across the street from the store.  Pretty Work!!!

    The inshore boats had catches of bluefish, spanish mackerel, speckled trout and cobia today.
    The offshore boats had good catches of gaffer dolphin, a few black fin and yellow fin tuna along with trigger fish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was sunny with temperatures right around 76F.   The winds were out of  the southwest today ranging from 6-12mph. Water temperature off the point is between 73-75F.
    The  Frisco Beach had sea mullet and citation pompano.  Down in Hatteras there were sea mullet, some citation size.  There was a nice cobia caught off the beach this afternoon.  Pictured below is JC with his cobia.

    The inshore boats had catches of large size cobia, spanish mackerel and bluefish.
    The offshore boats had good size gaffer dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna. Those that bottomfished caught tilefish, snapper and triggerfish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with temperatures right around 80F.   The winds were out of  the southwest today ranging from 5-10mph. Water temperature off the point is between 73-75F.

    There was a cobia caught off Ramp 43.  Frisco Beach had pompano.  Here’s a picture of Guy with a 2lb 14oz’er.  Down in Hatteras there were sea mullet and pompano.  Pictured below is Sandy Madre with a citation pompano, weighing in at 3lb 14 1/2oz.

    The inshore boats had catches of red drum and cobia, a few citation size.

    The offshore boats had gaffer Mahi and wahoo.
