    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 40’s.  The winds were from the northwest to west northwest  at 8-18 mph  with gusts up to 31 mph.
    In Buxton beaches Black Drum and Puppy Drum were reported.  On Frisco beach some Speckled Trout were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach Puppy Drum and Black Drum were caught.
    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was much cooler with mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s.
    On the Buxton beaches black drum, a few speckled trout and puppy drum were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach some sea mullet and a few puppy drum were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach some puppy drum were caught.
    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was a dreary day.  We had winds out of the southeast, south and southwest.  It blew 15 mph this morning, breezed up a bit by mid morning and then calmed down to 10 mph this evening. The temperature was around 68F.
    We have not had any reports for today, other than it being rough.
    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was a little cooler than yesterday.  We had northwest winds at 6-8 mph.  The temperature high today was 58.
    Lets start at the end of the island and work our way up for the report today.  Hatteras had reports of a flounder, mostly short, but a keeper mixed in.  There was also puppy drum caught.  Here in Frisco there were some sea mullet and a couple of black drum.  Buxton had reports of puppy drum, sea mullet and a few speckled trout. (Not many) Avon had sea mullet, bluefish and puppy drum.
    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was mostly sunny with a little bit of wind.  The winds were from the west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.
    Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches there have been sea mullet, blow toads, spot and some puppy drum and  a few big red drum as well.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish, big red drum and some sea mullet were reported.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach bluefish, sea mullet and a few puppy drum have been caught.
    The inshore boats are catching speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound today.
    The offshore boats had good king mackerel action and a few black fin tuna caught today.
