• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    We had lots of rain in the morning and light winds and overcast skies the rest of the day.,  The winds were from the south at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
    Several big red drum, sea mullet and bluefish were caught on the Avon, Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point today.  Bluefish, sea mullet and a few puppy drum were reported on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.
    No boats out inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    What a difference a day makes.  Today we had a high around 68F.  The winds were out of the east-north-east, then switched to the east-south-east this afternoon.  The winds were between 3-18 mph.
    We’ve got a little report for you today.  There were some bluefish at Cape Point.  Ramp 55 had some keeper flounder, today and yesterday.  There have been sea mullet, puppy drum  scattered about also.
    The inshore boats had catches of speckled trout and bluefish.
    The offshore boats had excellent catches of Blackfin Tuna, some king mackerel and a few dolphin.  There were several citations caught of the tuna and mackerel.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report


    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today the temperatures were cooler with the winds being out of the northeast, they blew 6-13 mph.  We reached a high of 58F.
    There were reports of drum caught at the Point this morning. There has been bluefish (some on lures), sea mullet and some puppy drum caught today too.
    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had started with rain in the early morning and ended up with partly cloudy skies. The winds were North at 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 50’s.
    They are catching Sea Mullet and Bluefish. The Avon Pier had a lot of reports of big Drum off the end in the 30-50” range.
    No reports from the inshore or offshore fleet today

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had started with rain and ended up with cloudy skies. The  winds from the north northeast at 12-16 mph and gusts up to 35 mph.  The temperatures were in the mid 60’s.
    They are catching Sea Mullet and  Bluefish in Avon.  Frisco and Hatteras beach Bluefish and Sea Mullet were reported.
    Inshore and Offshore boats stayed at the docks today.
