• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies with winds from the north northwest at 2-13 mph and gusts up to 18 mph.  The temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
    Sea Mullet and Flounder were reported at north beach above Avon.  Over in Frisco and Hatteras beach there were Bluefish and Sea Mullet caught.
    Inshore boats caught keeper Red Drum today.
    Offshore boats caught Bluefish, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had partly sunny skies with breezy conditions.  The winds were from the south at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.
    Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches some bluefish and sea mullet were reported.  Out at Cape Point some bluefish and puppy drum were reported.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach there were bluefish and sea mullet caught.
    No boats inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had rain, wind, no rain, no wind…that Hatteras Island for ya!  The winds were out of the southwest at 25-30 mph at 7 this morning, with gusts as high as 40.  By this afternoon, the winds died down to 8 mph.
    There have been some yearling size drum and sharks caught at the Point.  There were some sea mullet caught at Ramp 38.  We posted a picture of a nice citation caught there this morning.  Bluefish are scattered up and down the beaches.
    The weather kept the inshore and offshore boats to the docks today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    It turned out to be a nice day on Hatteras Island.  We reached a high around 70F today.  The winds were out of the northeast at 9-17 mph, with some higher gusts.
    Bluefish have been the main catch up and down the island.  There have been some over the slot and slot size drum caught at the Point along with the bluefish.  There have been some nice size sea mullet, small pompano, black drum and some keeper flounder.
    There is no inshore report for today, the sound was too rough.
    The offshore boats had catches of wahoo, blackfin tuna and king mackerel.  There was a sailfish boated today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today started out with some rain but clearing up by about 9. Temperatures were in the 60s through the day. The winds were from the west at 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
    In Buxton Sea mullet and a few puppy drum were reported off the point. 
    The inshore boats did not go out today.
    The offshore boats did not go out today.
