    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was mostly sunny.  The winds were from the west northwest at 6-10 mph with gust up to 20 mph.  Temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
    Frisco beach Bluefish and Speckled Trout were reported.
    Inshore boats caught Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish.
    Offshore boats caught Dolphin, Wahoo, and Triggerfish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was mostly sunny.  The winds were from the east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
    Up on the Avon beaches bluefish, pompano and sea mullet were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches and Cape Point there were sea mullet, spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches sea mullet and bluefish were caught.
    No boats were out today inshore or offshore.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today the temperatures hovered right around 80.  We had east-north-east winds at 8-12 mph, switching to the east late afternoon.
    The Point had some puppy drum.  Buxton also had sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had some sea mullet and pompano also, along with bluefish and small flounder.
    The inshore boats had catches of spanish mackerel and some albacore.
    The offshore boats had catches of wahoo.  The wahoo were on the large size. They also had catches of triggerfish and blackfin tuna.  The dolphin catching was pretty good today too!

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    It was a beautiful day across Hatteras Island.  We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and light and southeasterly winds between 5 and 7 mph.
    There have been bluefish scattered up and down the beaches.  There’s a few spot and pompano scattered as well. The north side of the Point had some spanish mackereland puppy drum. Frisco and Hatteras had sea mullet along with the bluefish.
    The inshore boats had catches of spanish mackerel and red drum.
    The offshore boats came back to the docks with limits of dolphin, some tuna, a good amount of triggerfish and some big wahoo.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies, temperatures were in the high 70s to low-mid 80s and the winds were 0-5 out of the north
    In Buxton they are catching Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel .  Frisco beach Puppy Drum and a citation sea mullet were reported.
    Inshore boats caught Red Drum, Spanish and King Mackerel
    Offshore boats caught Dolphin, Wahoo, and Triggerfish
    There were 4 sailfish releases as well
