• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had some nicer weather with temps reaching around 65. Winds started out of the north-east this morning and have shifted to the south-west this evening. Wind speed has been increasing throughout the day to around 15 mph and gusts to 25 mph.

    We’ve heard reports of puppy drum and sharks being caught from the Avon to Hatteras. Other reports of dogfish, sea mullet, and blow toads as well.

    There were reports of offshore bottom fishing, coming back with triggerfish and amberjack.

    No inshore reports today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had cool breezy day with north-west winds averaging 15 mph and gusting to the mid 20s. Temps started out near freezing this morning and we even had some snow flurries. We reached a high of 48 by this afternoon.

    No fishing reports today.

    Today we had rain and winds out of the northeast, blowing 10-15 mph.  It switched to the north-north-west late this afternoon, blowing around 15 mph with gusts around 32 mph.  The temperature was around 53F.

    There is no beach fishing reports for today.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Today we had winds out of the northeast at 10-15 mph with higher gusts.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s today.

    There were reports of puppy drum being caught on the southside of the Point and around Ramp 48 today.

    There are no inshore or offshore reports for today.
