    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had some storms early this morning and lots of wind.  The winds were out of the south-south-west at 18-25 mph with some gusts early as much as 40-63 mph.  The temperature was around 65F.

    There were a few drum caught this morning at Cape Point.  That’s really all we’ve heard.  The heavy winds kept it hard to fish today.

    The inshore boats caught some red drum today.

    There is no report for offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high of 74F.  The winds were out of the south all day.  They increased after lunch from 11 mph to 20, with gusts at times around 24 mph.  There is a chance of rain tonight.

    Today there were some puppy drum and sea mullet caught in Buxton.  Here in Frisco there were some sea mullet and black drum caught.  There was a decent drum bite at Cape Point this evening also.

    There were some keeper drum caught this morning in the Pamlico Sound.

    There is no offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We have fresh mullet!!!

    Today was mostly sunny and windy.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Big red drum are being caught tonight at Cape Point with some blow toads and sea mullet mixed in.  Over on the Frisco beach blow toads and sea mullet were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum were reported.

    The inshore boats caught lots of puppy drum and some bigger citation size drum.

    The offshore boats caught  yellowfin tuna and lots of blackfin tuna, a few king mackerel were also caught.

    We have fresh finger mullet!!!

    Today was mostly sunny with windy conditions.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

    Hopefully tonight Cape Point in Buxton will be producing Big Red Drum.  A few puppy drum reported on the Hatteras beaches today.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    The offshore boats caught  a few yellowfin tuna and lots of blackfin tuna, a few dolphin were also caught.

    Cape Point in Buxton should be producing Big Red Drum tonight.  There were puppy drum caught down on the Hatteras beaches.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    The offshore boats caught yellowfin and blackfin tuna, a few dolphin and some mako sharks.
