Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We have fresh mullet!!!

Today was mostly sunny and windy. The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Big red drum are being caught tonight at Cape Point with some blow toads and sea mullet mixed in. Over on the Frisco beach blow toads and sea mullet were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum were reported.

The inshore boats caught lots of puppy drum and some bigger citation size drum.

The offshore boats caught yellowfin tuna and lots of blackfin tuna, a few king mackerel were also caught.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We have fresh finger mullet!!!

Today was mostly sunny with windy conditions. The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

Hopefully tonight Cape Point in Buxton will be producing Big Red Drum. A few puppy drum reported on the Hatteras beaches today.

There is no inshore report for today.

The offshore boats caught a few yellowfin tuna and lots of blackfin tuna, a few dolphin were also caught.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We have fresh finger mullet!!!

Today we had warm weather and light winds. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Cape Point in Buxton should be producing Big Red Drum tonight. There were puppy drum caught down on the Hatteras beaches.

There is no inshore report for today.

The offshore boats caught yellowfin and blackfin tuna, a few dolphin and some mako sharks.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The temperature climbed into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon, while the north-east winds calmed a bit with only a few gusts in the mid 20’s around noon. The skies also cleared from a grey morning into a sunny afternoon.

We had reports of a very good black drum bite at the Frisco pier site today.

There is no inshore report for today.

They caught some blackfin tune, wahoo, and king mackerel offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a dreary, cold, rainy day across the Island. The temperature hit 50F, but felt colder with the north winds blowing 5-15 mph.

Folks tried their luck today, but all that was biting was some dog sharks.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
