    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly cloudy skies.  The winds were from the north-west at 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 50’s

    Around Cape Point in Buxton there were some nice puppy drum and a few over 30 inches.

    No boats out inshore or offshore today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today the temps hovered in the mid 40s and the winds were out of the west-north-west. Was mostly calm during the day, but we had morning and evening gusts into the low 30s. We’ve also had some scattered showers.

    We have no fishing reports today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had lots of rain.  The winds were from the west switching to the north-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s dropping to the upper 40’s late in the day.

    With the heavy rain all day and some thunder and lighting off and on no one went fishing that  I know of.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly sunny and 62F.  The winds were out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

    Cape Point had some puppy drum today.  There are some folks fishing tonight for the big ones, hopefully we will hear of some tomorrow and let you know.  Hatteras had reports of puppy drum and black drum.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    Several boats went offshore today.  They had great catches of wahoo with some yellowfin tuna mixed in.  The bottom fishing was pretty good, with catches of amberjack, vermillion snapper and triggerfish.

    Today was mostly sunny.  By this afternoon we had northeast winds 15-20, with gusts to 25 mph.

    There were reports of a few drum and sharks at Cape Point today.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
