    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Temperatures climbed today into the upper 50s, while the NW winds died down to a calmer 5-10 mph. Morning had some scattered misty rain, but it cleared up to be a nice sunny clear day after that.

    There was no beach fishing report for today.

    There was no inshore report for today.

    Some blackfin tuna were caught offshore today.

    This morning started off with temperatures in the 60’s, wind and rain.  The cold front came in after the rain ended dropping those temperatures down a little.

    There was no beach fishing report for today.

    There was no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we reached 69F.  The winds were out of the south-south-west at 10-15 mph.

    Today there were reports of puppy drum and a few just over the slot being caught from Cape Point down.  Pictured below is Susan McClanahan with her just over the slot puppy drum that she caught here on Ramp 49 this morning, she was using a river puppy drum rig with shrimp.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had warm temperatures maxing out in the mid 60s. Variable winds shifting from the southeast this morning to the southwest in the afternoon around 10 mph with gusts in the mid 20s. Scattered showers across the area throughout the day.

    We had a report of a slot size puppy drum being caught at the point late in the morning.

    There is no inshore report today but some nice blackfin tuna were caught offshore.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with calm winds.  The winds were from the north at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

    There are still a few puppy drum being caught on the Frisco Hatteras beaches today.

    There is no inshore report today but there were some nice yellowfin tuna action offshore.

    There is one more YOUTH Waterfowl Hunting Day coming up on Saturday Feb 10th 2018.
