Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had overcast skies with heavy rain and winds mid day. The winds were from the south-west 15-20 mph with gusts to 37 mph decreasing to 10-15 mph by the afternoon. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

With the line of heavy rain and wind pushing through today we only had some reports of a few puppy drum this morning on the Buxton and Frisco beach.

No boats out inshore or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had another warm day today. The light southwesterly breezes made for warm temperatures. We made it over 60 today. Tomorrow will be warmer, but with some showers.

There were some puppy drum caught today. There was a nice morning bite down in Hatteras. This afternoon around the Pier, if you were on the left side you were catching puppy drum, if you were on the right side, you were catching black drum. Pictured below is Ernie Munden with a nice puppy he caught today.

Today the offshore fleet that had trips had a great day of bottomfishing. They caught triggerfish, sea bass and a few amberjacks.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another beautiful day on across Hatteras Island. The temperature reached almost 60 again today with light winds.

Today we had reports of keeper size drum from the Point all the way down to Hatteras.

There were a few boats offshore today. They caught some nice size blackfin tunas, king mackerel, albacore and amberjacks.

There was no inshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We warmed up today with temps nearing 60 this afternoon. Winds were out of the west all day with gusts reaching 24 mph.

We had reports of slot size red drum being caught on the Frisco and Hatteras Village beaches.

There was no inshore or offshore fishing report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today started calm and cool with temps in the mid 30s, reaching the mid 40s this afternoon. Winds picked up this afternoon with gusts nearly reaching 30 mph. Some scattered rain showers started mid afternoon.

We had reports of slot size red drum being caught on the Frisco beaches.

The duck hunters that stopped in reported having a really good day.

There was no inshore or offshore fishing report for today.
