    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was another windy day on Hatteras Island.  We had winds out of the northwest blowing 20-15 mph and temperatures just barely over 40.

    There were some slot size red drum caught today.  Here in Frisco and at Hatteras, even though the water was a little dirty down in Hatteras.

    Talked to a few folks that went duck hunting today.  They had a descent day.

    There was no inshore or offshore fishing report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had cold winds, coming out of the north at a steady 15-20 mph.

    Most folks just rode the beach today, a few tried their luck, but the water was a little dirty.  We did not hear of any fish being caught.

    There was no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was warmer and partly sunny.  The winds were from the  south-west 15-20 mph with 60 degree temperatures dropping out to 5 mph and switching to the north and then increasing to 15-25 mph with low 40 degree temperatures.

    There were several nice puppy drum caught on the Frisco beach today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today’s temperature rose to a high of 62 degrees, mostly overcast with skies starting to clear around sundown. The winds were out of the southeast at around 15 mph.The strong SE flow made the conditions unfavorable for fishing along the Islands south beaches. There were numerous reports of Speckled Trout  and nice slot Drum with some over slot Drum caught on the point today. It seems like the Drum have a taste for trout rigs, but have also shown a lot of interest in gold 3/4 and 1/2 oz. Hopkins Lures.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today started out around 40 degrees, but reached into the mid 60s by the afternoon. Sunny skies and winds out of the north at 5-10 mph made this a gorgeous day to be outside fishing.

    Fishing has been good with reports of a strong puppy drum bite on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches. Jigging with ZMan and Berkley grubs were producing the best results.
