Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had light winds, sunny skies and warmer temperatures. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum and spot were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco beach puppy drum and flounder were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, flounder and a couple of 22″ stripers were reported

The inshore boats had good puppy drum catches, some nice citation red drum action and bluefish and speckled trout were scattered.

The offshore boats had good wahoo fishing and a few dolphin and blackfin tuna. The bottom fishing was good with vermilion snapper and trigger fish caught.

Up on the Avon beaches puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Over on the Frisco beach puppy drum and flounder were caught.

The inshore boats had good catches of puppy drum, some big citation red drum and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was beautiful with warm temperatures and little humidity. The winds were from the north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

Up on the Avon beaches puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet were reported. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, bluefish, sea mullet and a few speckled trout were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Over on the Frisco beach pompano, sea mullet and puppy drum were caught.

The inshore boats had good catches of puppy drum and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another beautiful day. We had northeast winds again. It blew around 10 mph, then lessened this afternoon to 5 mph or less. The temperature was in the mid 70’s today.

Avon is reporting puppy and yearling size drum, sea mullet, small bluefish, pompano and spot. Buxton had puppy and yearling size drum. Frisco had puppy and yearling size drum, also some bluefish. Hatteras had puppy and yearling size drum also. They also had bluefish, sea mullet and pompano.

The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum and releasing larger ones.

The offshore boats had catches of wahoo, triggerfish, sea bass and scattered dolphin.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today has been beautiful and breezy. We had northeast winds between 10-15 mph with higher gusts and temperatures in the 70’s.

From the Avon beaches there were puppy drum, sea mullet and black drum caught. In Buxton there were bluefish and puppy drum. Pictured below is a couple of pictures of some guys and Bodey with their puppy drum catch. They were at Cape Point this evening. Frisco had small bluefish. Hatteras had puppy drum, small bluefish and just undersize flounder.

The inshore boats had a great day of puppy drum fishing.

The offshore boats did not make it out today.
