• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with calm winds with a little bit of humidity.  The winds were from the north-west switching to the north-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, pompano and spot were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum and pompano were reported.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches puppy drum and bluefish were caught.

    The inshore boats caught lots of speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats had really good dolphin and sailfish fishing.  A few wahoo and black fin tuna were also reported.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with calm winds.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    There were a few fish caught today.  On the Buxton beaches bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and a few pompano were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach puppy drum and flounder were being reported.

    The inshore boats caught lots of speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats had really good dolphin and wahoo catches and some nice black fin tuna.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was overcast and windy most of the morning with partly sunny skies in the afternoon.  The winds were from the north-west at 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph and the  temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

    With all the wave action and swell from Hurricane Jose there are no reports from the beaches of fish being caught.

    No boats were out inshore or offshore today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was another overcast day.  The temperature was in the upper 70’s again today and the winds were out of the north-north-east, 13-16 mph with higher gusts.

    The only report I have is coming from the Inshore boats today!  There were some puppy drum caught.  The winds are going to pick up as the night goes and tomorrow comes, please be safe folks!

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today the winds were out of the northeast, 10-15 mph.  We had overcast skies and  temperatures in the upper 70’s.

    The only beach report given today was from this morning.  At Cape Point there were a few puppy drum, flounder and plenty of skates.

    The inshore boats had great catches of puppy drum and speckled trout.

    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.
