• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly overcast skies, with a high of 76F.  The winds were out of the east at 9-19 mph with higher gusts.

The fishing has been slow due to the winds.  The Avon closed early, but did post a nice picture of a 24 inch puppy drum.  We had reports of pompano and spanish down our way.  It’s just too rough on the northern beaches, hopefully it will calm down soon.

The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum, speckled and gray trout.

There were no offshore boats out today.
