Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had calm winds and sunny skies. The winds were from the north-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Today the Buxton beach had bluefish and spanish mackerel reported. Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and sharks were caught. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some pompano and sea mullet reported. Pictured is Minde with 26in puppy drum caught Monday on the Frisco beach. Pretty work!!

The inshore boats caught puppy drum and bluefish today.

The offshore boats had real good dolphin and yellowfin tuna and grouper were caught. One sailfish was released today.

Today was the second day of the 58th Annual Hatteras Marlin Club Blue Marlin Release Tournament. 3 blue marlin, 2 white marlin, 8 sailfish and a spearfish were released today. To check for updates, just click on blue highlight.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was nice, because it was less humid. We still had a temperature high of 81F and north winds this morning, switching around to the southeast this evening, then back around to the north tonight.

Avon Pier caught bluefish and spanish mackerel this morning and sea mullet and croaker this evening. The Point had a few bluefish. There were a few pompano and sea mullet in Frisco today.

The inshore boats caught keeper and larger drum, also some speckled trout.

The offshore boats had catches of blackfin tuna, excellent catches of larger yellowfin tuna and limits of dolphin. Today started the 58th Annual Hatteras Marlin Club Blue Marlin Release Tournament. To check for updates, just click on blue highlight.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The morning started off with some rain showers, but that did not last long. We had a high around 82F and light north winds this morning, coming around to the west-south-west this evening.

Avon is reporting some puppy drum today. Buxton and Frisco are reporting pompano and sea mullet. Hatteras had some bluefish.

There were some puppy drum caught in the sound today.

A few boats ventured offshore today. They had catches of dolphin and tuna. There was also a white marlin release.

We would like to wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow in the Marlin Club Tournament.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies with increasing winds. The winds were from the west south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

A few puppy drum were caught out at Cape Point in Buxton. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet were caught.

The inshore boats were catching puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had to stay at the dock due to rough seas.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Today the sea mullet fishing was really good on the Frisco beach. A few sea mullet were reported up in Buxton.

The inshore boats were catching puppy drum, spanish mackerel, bluefish and flounder in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had scattered catches of dolphin, good black fin tuna, a few wahoo and good bottom catches of b liners, amber jack and snowy grouper. A white marlin and 2 sailfish were released.
