    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was rainy in the morning than clearing and breezy the rest of the day.  The winds were south-east in the morning switching to the south-west 20-30 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

    With all the severe weather and high winds we have no reports from the beaches.

     

    No boats out inshore of offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with more warm temperatures.  The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Up on the Avon beach bluefish and blow toads were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches some big skinny bluefish were reported along blow toads and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton some nice big bluefish, big sharks and a few small flounder were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach good catches of sea mullet were caught.

    Pictured below with nice Bluefish catches are Jim Price of Frisco NC and Tristan Cox of Someret KY.  One at Ramp 44 and the other at Cape Point in Buxton.

    The inshore boats had real good big red drum fishing in the Pamlico sound.

    The Offshore boats had good catches of yellowfin tuna and black fin tuna.  Scattered wahoo action and a mako shark was caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was warm and windy with sunny skies.  We had west south-west winds at 15-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

    Pretty decent fishing out at Cape Point in Buxton.  A few red drum over 40 inches, puppy drum, blow toads and nice bluefish were reported.  The Frisco beaches had some flounder and sea mullet reported.

    The inshore boats had good big spring bluefish and some nice red drum caught today in and around Hatteras Inlet.

    No offshore boats out today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was much warmer than yesterday.  We reached a high of 75F.  The winds were out of the east this morning, after lunch they switched around to the south-south-east and increased, 12-21 mph.

    Avon has reports of small puppy drum.  Buxton is reporting a  nice size bluefish, lots of blow toads and a couple of sharks.  Frisco had black drum and blow toads.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    The offshore boats had good catches of blackfin tuna and false albacore today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was cooler than yesterday.  We had a high of 57 and northeast winds around 10 mph.

    There were blowtoads, sea mullet and bluefish caught today.

    All the charter boats stayed at the docks today.
