Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was on the cloudy side. We had light north winds, blowing around 5 mph and the temperatures were in the lower 50’s.

It’s been a good day of fishing. Today was the last day for the Avon Pier to be open and this morning they caught around 8 big drum. Pictured below is Tater with a nice one, check out that smile 🙂 There were also some puppy drum and trout in Avon. Buxton had reports of black drum and puppy drum around the jetties. Frisco had some bluefish, black drum and sea mullet. There were some blow toads and trout around the Pier.

There was no inshore report today. The offshore report for today is some king mackerel and blackfin tuna. The commercial boats are catching king mackerel as well.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Clear skies but coller temoeratures today. Tempeatures were in the mid 50s’ with winds from the North at 5-10 mph.

Good fishing off the beach today. In Buxton there was some puppy drum, sea-mullet, and a few speckled trout. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet, black drum, and plenty of puppy drum biting. Sea mullet, bluefish, and blowtoads were caught in hatters today.

Inshore today there was a few boats that fished and found some keeper puppy drum.

No offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies with light winds. The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s

Up on the Avon beach puppy drum and sea mullet were reported. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum and some over slot fish were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton some big red drum and speckled trout were caught. Over on the Frisco beach some bluefish, puppy drum and speckled trout were caught.

No report inshore or offshore today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we have had overcast skies with rain on and off all day. The winds were from the south-south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches black drum and puppy drum were reported. A few speckled trout were also reported. Over on the Frisco beach some bluefish, puppy drum and sea mullet were caught.

No report inshore or offshore today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had partly cloudy skies all day with rain showers early in the evening. The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

The northern beaches are catching sea mullet, bluefish and puppy drum. Down around Buxton specked trout, puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet are being caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton a good big red drum bite was had this morning with several caught along with bluefish, sharks and skates. Over on the Frisco beach more speckled trout, some puppy drum and bluefish were reported.

No report inshore or offshore today.
