    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly cloudy with lots of rain mid morning and clear the rest of the day.  The winds were from the south-west at 15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

    Good fishing today.  Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, black drum, some blow toads and speckled trout were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches and down at Frisco and Hatteras beaches sea mullet, black drum, blow toads, bluefish, flounder and speckled trout were reported.

    No boats fishing inshore or offshore today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was partly sunny.  We had north winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

    Out at Cape Point in Buxton some sea mullet and black drum were reported.

    There were a few sea mullet caught on the Hatteras beach today.

    There’s no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was overcast with plenty of wind in the afternoon.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Fishing today was pretty good from the beaches.  Around the jetties in Buxton speckled trout and sea mullet were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and puppy drum were caught.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches scattered bluefish and puppy drum were reported.

    There’s no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was overcast, but warm.  We had a high of 64F, with very light wind.  We are expecting even warmer temperatures tomorrow.  Enjoy it while it lasts!

    Fishing has resumed and there has been a few fish caught.  Cape Point had a few puppy drum and bluefish, along with sharks and skates.  Around Frisco Pier there were some small speckled trout and puffers.  At Ramp 55 there were some black drum, puppy drum, small speckled trout, sea mullet, puffers and keeper flounder.

    There’s no inshore or offshore report for today.

    What a beautiful day we have had.  We had temps in the upper 50’s and north-north-east winds blowing anywhere from 5 to 15  mph.
