    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful weather to start the day. The winds were calm from the west and temperatures were in the upper 60’s. This afternoon the winds shifted to the North-West and picked up to 20-30 mph.

    Slower fishing off the beach today as the winds picked up. There was some sea-mullet, blowtoads, grey trout, and some puppy drum biting all over the beaches. A few bluefish were caught off the point this morning also.

    No inshore report for today.

    Offshore the fishing was great while the winds were calm. The big king mackerel were biting great as well as black-fin tuna and wahoo.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Cooler temperatures are starting to make an apperence. The temperatures today were in the low 60’s. Winds were from the North-West at 5-10 mph. The sunny skies made up for the cool breeze today.

    Still some goood fishing off the beach. There was sea-mullet bluefish and blowtoads scattered all over the beach. There was a handful of speckled trout in buxton as well as a few drum at the point. Here in Frisco and Down in Hatteras there was blufish and black drum biting.

    No inshore report for today.

    Offshore the fishing was great in the morning slowing down in the afternoon. The king makerel were bitinge as well as some citation sized black-fin tuna.

    Beautiful weather today. The temperatures were in the lower 60’s. Winds were calm from the North.

    Great fishing off the beach today. Sea-mullet, blowtoads, puppy drum biting all over the beach today. Off the point late last night and early this morning there was a great drum bite. Great bluefish bite at the point today.

    No inshore report for tpday.

    Offshore today there was fair fishing. The wahoo and blackfin tuna were biting.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had more light winds and sunny skies.  The winds were from the North-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the lower 60’s.

    We have had another good day of fishing from the beaches on Hatteras Island. Blow toads,  sea mullet, bluefish, puppy drum and black drum have been caught up and down the Island.  Cape Point is still producing big red drum, lots of sharks and skates and bluefish.

    The inshore boats caught puppy drum and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.  Boats that went out into the hook caught lots of big red drum and bluefish.

    The offshore boats had excellent live bait king mackerel fishing, some real good blackfin tuna catches and good wahoo action.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had light winds and mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the North and 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.

    Good fishing today from all beaches.  Bluefish, puppy drum, sea mullet and black drum were caught  on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  The big red drum showed up all day out at Cape Point with several released.

    The inshore boats caught puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound today.

    The offshore boats had real good wahoo action with a few dolphin caught.
