• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather was beautiful again today. The winds were from the North again today at 5-10 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

    Off the Avon beach there was sea-mullet, croaker, and pompano biting. Off the pier there was sea-mullet, croaker, spot, spadefish, small bluefish caught. In Buxton there was pompano, sea-mullet and bluefish. Here on Frisco there was pompano, sea-mullet, and bluefish. Hatteras beach had a good day with spanish mackerel, bluefish sea-mullet, and pompano biting.

    Inshore was slower today with just bluefish biting.

    Offshore fishing was good. The dolphin bite was scattered but the wahoo, black-fin tuna, and sailfish were biting great.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful weather today. Calm winds throughout the day from the North in the morning turning South around noon. Temperatures were in the mid 80’s again today.

    In Avon there was spot, croaker, and sea-mullet biting off the beach. From the pier there was blackdrum, sea-mullet, small bluefish, and roaker caught. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel, bluefish, and pompano caught. Here in Frisco we had small bluefish and pompano biting. Off the Hatteras beach there was small bluefish and sea-mullet.

    Inshore today there was a great spanish mackerel bite in the morning and a good bluefish bite in the afternoon.

    Offshore today there was some great fishing. The wahoo and dolphin were biting great today. BLackfin tuna were biting again today as well. There was a few sailfish released today also.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful weather again today. Temperatures were in the mid 80’s with winds from the East at 5-10 mph.

    From the beach today there was fair fishing. In Avon there was croaker, sea-mullet and bluefish from the beach. Off the pier there was blackdrum, sea-mullet, croaker, small flounder, and bluefish caught. In Buxton there was a great spanish mackerel bite at the point with small bluefish and some sea-mullet all along the beach. Here in Frisco we had scattered bluefish biting. In Hatteras there was croaker, sea-mullet, and small bluefish biting.

    Inshore today there was a great spanish mackerel and bluefish bite throughout the day.

    Offshore today the wahoo and dolphin fishing was great with multiple boats nearing limits. There was a sailfish released. Black-fin and yellow-fin tuna made it to the dock also today. From the bottom there was amberjack, tilefish, and snapper caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had another nice  day with calm winds and plenty of sunshine.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach bluefish, pompano and sea mullet were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet, spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton more good bluefish action on metal.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet, croaker and bluefish were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish,  spanish mackerel and a few flounder were caught.

    The inshore fishing boats caught lots bluefish and spanish mackerel in and outside Hatteras Inlet.

    The offshore boats had good dolphin and black fin tuna catches.  The wahoo bite was really good with a few yellowfin tuna mixed in.  There were a few tilefish caught off the bottom.  A white marlin was released.

    Today we had nice calm winds and plenty of sunshine.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach bluefish, pompano, sea mullet and croakers were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet and bluefish were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton good bluefish action on metal.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet, pompano, croaker and bluefish have been reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, a few spanish mackerel, croaker and a few flounder were caught.
