    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had sunny skies with calm winds.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beaches puppy drum and bluefish were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, sea mullet and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco beach puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, puppy drum and flounder were reported.

    The inshore boats had an excellent day of puppy drum and drum over the slot released today in the Pamlico sound.

    The offshore boats had real good wahoo action and good dolphin action.

    We had a beautiful day with sunny skies and calm winds.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beaches puppy drum are being reported.  Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, sea mullet, pompano and bluefish were caught. Over on the Frisco beach pompano, puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish and flounder were caught.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was a nice day for drying out today, after Hermine passed through and left a wet, wet mess for folks to clean up.  The nice cooler temperature was a plus, with north-north- east winds blowing 8-12 mph with higher gusts, made the temperatures in the upper 70’s today.

    Folks have bought bait and gone fishing.  It is rough out there, the ocean should gradually start to calm down and the catching shall begin, until then, Be Patient.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

As the storm passed and winds shifted there was sound side tide From the Tri-villages area all the way to Hatteras. Many people saying its the deepest they’ve seen.     As Tropical Storm Hermaine nears, so does the rain.  It has been a rain event today.  Winds will steady increase as Hermaine gets closer.  Today we reached a high of 78F.  Click on this highlighed link for updates on the weather, Weather Underground, Frisco.  Also for the most update advisories from Dare County Emergency Management, Current Advisories.

    The only fishing report is coming from Buxton, with small bluefish and pompano.

    There was one boat that ventured offshore today and it was worth it.  They caught wahoo, dolphin, blackfin tuna, triggerfish and sea bass.
