    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather today was great until the winds shifted. The Winds today were from the West at 5-10 mph then turned to the South-West and increased to 15-20 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 80’s. this morning there was a few scattered showers.

    From the beach today the fishing was scattered. On Avon there was croaker, and sea-mullet biting. In Buxton there was sea-mullet biting. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and spot caught. In Hatteras the sea-mullet, spot, and croaker were biting.

    Inshore there was also slow fishing with scattered bluefish sea-mullet and flounder biting.

    Offshore today there was only a few boats fishing but there was dolphin, wahoo, and black-fin tuna biting. From the bottom there was tilefish, grouper, and amberjack caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Hot an sunny day here today. The temperatures were near 90 throughout most of the day. Winds were from the East at 5-10 mph.

    Slower fishing from the beach today, In Avon there was sea-mullet and spot off the beach. From the pier there was sea-mullet and spade fish. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel and sharks caught. Here in Frisco we had bluefish and sea-mullet biting. From the Hatteras beach there was sea-mullet, bluefish, spot and croaker biting.

    Inshore fishing was good today with grey trout, puppy drum, and bluefish biting in the morning. This afternoon the puppy drum bite slowed down.

    Offshore the fishing was great. Multiple white marlin and sailfish were released today. Most boats had limits of dolphin, The wahoo bite was good. From the bottom the tilefish, grouper, triggerfish, and silver snapper were biting.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful weather today. North-East winds at 5-10 for most of the day picking up slightly towards the afternoon. Temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

    From the beach the fish are still biting. In Avon there was sea-mullet, pompano and bluefish from the beach. From the pier there was bluefish and sea-mullet caught. In Buxton there was sea-mullet during the day and in the late afternoon and into the night there was sharks at the point. Here in Frisco we had sea-mullet and pompano biting. In Hatteras there was sea-mullet, blow toads, and bluefish caught.

    Inshore today there was grey trout and puppy drum in the morning. In the afternoon there was puppy drum and great clamming in the sound and just outside the inlet there was spanish mackerel and bluefish biting.

    Offshore today the billfish showed up with a few sailfish and white marlin being released. Wahoo fishing was good today and the dolphin were scattered. From the deep there was amberjacks, snowy grouper, tilefish, and sea-bass caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a nice and cooler.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s with a north-east wind 10-15 mph.

    Up on the Avon beach there were sea mullet, pompano and croakers reported.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were several bluefish, spanish mackerel and sharks caught.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet, pompano and spot were reported.

    The inshore boats had catches of speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.  Bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing was good today around Hatteras Inlet.

    The offshore boats had good fishing today.  Scattered dolphin and king mackerel.  The wahoo and black fin tuna fishing was really good.  The tilefish action was good today from the bottom.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a nice day.  The temperature was like yesterday, around the mid 80’s.  The winds were out of the southwest around 10 mph.  There is a little rain moving in and the winds will switch tomorrow, which will feel cooler.

    There’s a few fish around today.  In Avon there were some gray trout, pompano and croaker.  The Pier had spanish mackerel, small bluefish, croaker, sea mullet and a few flounder.  Buxton had some spanish mackerel, small bluefish and croaker.  There were a few croaker in Frisco.  Hatteras had reports of croaker, small bluefish, pompano and sea mullet.

    The inshore boats had catches of speckled trout, gray trout, small flounder and red drum.

    A few offshore boats ventured out today.  They had catches of tuna, wahoo and tilefish.
