  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today the rain has moved off and the winds are starting to drop some.  The winds were from the north-east at 20-30 mph dropping to 10-15 mph but switching more from the north and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  Hatteras village has really experienced some sound side flooding today over the whole village.  Frisco was better but the south end and some low areas by the Frisco Fire Station had some sound tide.

This weather has kept all the Ramps closed to driving.  You can walk over, but it’s pretty rough out there.  I did see one guy fishing the Buxton Jetties this morning.  Pretty sure nothing was caught.

A few folks did fish the sound side today and there were some puppy drum reported.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was mostly a rain and wind event, with a few clear spots here and there.  The winds were out of the northeast between 10-20 mph.  The temperature was a little cooler at 71F.

This weather has kept all the Ramps closed to driving.  You can walk over, but it’s pretty rough out there.  We have not had any reports.  There have been some folks around, fishing the soundside mainly, but no one had reported back to us.

I have a couple of pictures to share.  The first picture is Rodanthe Pier.  They have some damage from the storm.  This picture was taken from Mickie Warren.
