    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies again. The temperature was in the mid 80’s with winds from the North East at 5-10 mph

    It was another slow day for fishing on the beach today. In Avon there was some croaker and spot aught on the pier and from the beach. In Buxton there was some bluefish caught. Here in Frisco the croaker and sea mullet biting. In Hatteras there was some croaker, sea mullet, bluefish and some spot caught off the beach.

    Inshore today the red drum fishing was good again. Just outside the inlet there was some good spanish mackerel caught.

    Offshore today there was some good dolphin fishing. The wahoo bite was fair and so was the billfish bite. The blackfin tuna were around today also.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had more sunny skies with some nice northerly winds.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches today some sea mullet, spot and croaker were reported.  The Avon Pier had sea mullet, spot, croaker and a few spanish mackerel reported.

    The inshore boats had real good puppy drum fishing with few bigger red drum caught in the Pamlico Sound. A few spanish mackerel were caught around Hatteras Inlet.

    The offshore boats had good wahoo and blackfin tuna fishing with a few dolphin caught.  The sailfish bite was good too with 6 sailfish and 2 white marlin released.  .

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with humid conditions.  There were west south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach today some sea mullet and croaker were reported.  On the Buxton and Frisco beaches puppy drum and sea mullet were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beaches some spot, small flounder,croaker and sea mullet were caught.

    The inshore boats caught puppy drum and over the slot red drum today in the Pamlico Sound.

    No offshore report today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was partly sunny.  We had south-west winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach today some sea mullet, croaker, puppy drum and bluefish were caught.  Down on the Buxton beaches sea mullet, croaker and spot were reported.  Over on the Frisco beaches sea mullet, pompano and croaker were caught.  The Hatteras beaches had bluefish, sea mullet, spot and croaker.

    No inshore or offshore report today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was partly cloudy, with the occasional thunderstorm that started at lunchtime.  The winds were southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

    Avon beach had some sea mullet, croaker and bluefish today.  Avon Pier had a couple of nice king mackerel caught today, a 25lber and a 32lber.  There were also spanish mackerel, croaker, bluefish and some shad.  Buxton had some sea mullet.  Here at Frisco, we had some pompano and sea mullet.  Hatteras had bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and small flounder.

    The inshore boats had lots of nice size bluefish.  Those boats that went near shore got amberjack.

     

    For the offshore boats the dolphin fishing was good.  The blackfin tuna and wahoo were scattered.  There were a couple of sailfish released today.
