  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope everyone had a fun and safe Independence day.

The sun was shining but the winds were strong. The temperature was in the low 80’s today. Winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph.

From the beach today the fishing was scarce. Avon beach had a lot of wind but no fish. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, pompano and some croaker caught. Here in Frisco there was some sea-mullet biting today. In Hatteras there was puppy drum caught.

The winds kept a lot of the boats at the docks today. For the few boats that made it out the red drum were biting pretty good.

No offshore report for today, the wind kept everyone at the docks.
