• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had overcast skies with light winds.  The winds were from the north at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s

    Today on the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point in Buxton mostly sharks and skates were reported.  On the Frisco beaches a few speckled trout were caught.

    No boats fished inshore or offshore  today.

    We will we open until around 4 pm on Christmas Eve and closed all day on Christmas Day.  The 26th we will back open with normal business hours 6am- 9pm.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had warmer temperatures, but rain for most of the day.  We had winds out of the southeast this morning around 10-17 mph.  It switched to the northwest this afternoon.  The temperature high for today was 62F.

    There were some trout caught at Ramp 49 today, mostly on gulp.  Your choice of color, more than likely the one you don’t have with you 🙂 !  Some have also been on mirrorlures.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was cloudy and on the cool side.  The temperature was around 48F.  We had north, north-east winds around 5-10 with some higher gusts.

    There were a few speckled trout caught today.  Most of them were on the small side, with just a few keepers.

    There is no inshore report for today.

    There was one offshore boat, it had a good catch of  blackfin tuna.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather wasn’t so great today. We had scattered rain showers and colder temperatures. The wind was North-North-East 5-10 mph and temperature’s were in the lower 40’s

    The fishing was better today. From the beach the speckled trout were everywhere today. In Frisco there was a few bluefish caught today also.

    No inshore report for today.

    Offshore today there was a good catch of blackfin tuna and the king mackeral were biting again today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Sunny skies again today. The water was beautiful, the winds were light from the North-North-East and the temperature was in the upper 40’s.

    The fishing today was very slow the only report we had was some sea-mullet caught in Hatteras.

    Inshore today the puppy drum fishing was excellent.

    Offhshore today there was a fair amount of blackfin tuna caught and the commercial boats had a good king mackerel bite.
