Another sunny day here on the island. The winds were North-West 5-10 mph and the temperature was in the upper 40’s.

Nothing to report today except for lots of sharks and skates around the Buxton beach.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island..

Today has been mostly sunny. The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 40’s.

Nothing to report today even with the winds dying down a bit except for lots of sharks and some sea mullet around the Buxton beaches and Cape Point in Buxton.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island..

Today has been partly sunny. The winds were from the north-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

Nothing to report today even with the winds dying down a bit. The ocean is still rough on the north beach in Buxton and there is still some current and swell on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Today has been overcast with a light mist. The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 40’s.

Not much to report today with the ocean still a little rough on the north beach in Buxton and still some current on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

December 8, 2014

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today our high was 51F. We had gloomy skies all day with wind, mist and rain mixed in. Hwy 12 was closed for most of the day and those without landlines were without phone service and no internet for a good 6 hours.

Here is a picture of one of the motels in Buxton. This picture was taken by Jake Dempsey. Check out our facebook page for some other pictures that were captured today.

There is no fishing reports from the beach or an inshore or offshore report for today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a different story.
