Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was just beautiful! We had sunny skies, a high around 57F and light northwest winds.

The only reports I’ve gotten are dog sharks. There should be a trout or puppy drum mixed in though.

The offshore boats are getting blackfin tuna.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies with light winds. The winds were from the north-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s

Today on the Buxton beaches there were a few speckled trout and a puppy drum caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton mostly sharks were reported. On the Frisco beaches a few speckled trout were caught around the Frisco Pier late in the afternoon.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season. We will we closing today around 4 pm, closed all day on Christmas and open like normal on the 26th at 6 am-9 pm.

I have no fish to report with the rainy weather we have had today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had overcast skies with light winds. The winds were from the north at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s

Today on the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point in Buxton mostly sharks and skates were reported. On the Frisco beaches a few speckled trout were caught.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

We will we open until around 4 pm on Christmas Eve and closed all day on Christmas Day. The 26th we will back open with normal business hours 6am- 9pm.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

December 22, 2014

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had warmer temperatures, but rain for most of the day. We had winds out of the southeast this morning around 10-17 mph. It switched to the northwest this afternoon. The temperature high for today was 62F.

There were some trout caught at Ramp 49 today, mostly on gulp. Your choice of color, more than likely the one you don’t have with you 🙂 ! Some have also been on mirrorlures.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
