Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather today kept the fishing to a bare minimum. The temperature was in the mid 60’s today which made for a nice change. The cloudy in the moring with rain setting in late in the day. The winds were 10-20mph from the east in the morning turning south in the afternoon.

No reports of any fishing today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather today was the best this week, the sun was shining, the temperature was in the lower 50’s and the winds were 5-10 mph from the west in the morning but turned north in the afternoon.

In Buxton today there was a scattered sea-mullet bite along with the dog sharks and skates. In Frisco the fishing was slow with just a few sea-mullet caught..

No inshore report for today.

Offshore today there was a great bite of blackfin tuna. There was also a report of a wahoo caught today.

Happy New Years Hatteras Island Fishing Report

We hope everyone had wonderful and safe New Years Eve and 2015 brings lots of happiness and fun for everyone.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

This New Years Day was a beautiful day with sunny skies. We had calm and cool winds from the north-west at 5 mph with the temperatures in the mid 40’s.

The Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point had dog sharks and skates reported. Over on the Frisco beach some scattered puppy drum were caught. Down around Hatteras Inlet there a few more puppy drum reported. .

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

For the last day of the year the weather couldn’t have been better. The sun was shining and the wind laid out some to 5-10 mph from the north. The temperature was in the mid 40’s. The sunset couldn’t have been better for a great end of the year.

The speckled trout were caught everywhere today. From the beach in Frisco and Avon there was a scattered puppy drum bite. In Buxton the sharks and skates were biting.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had overcast skies and gusty winds. The winds were from the north north-east at 10-20 mph with higher gust to 30 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s

The Avon and Buxton beaches were too rough to fish and the Frisco and Hatteras beaches had a scattered puppy drum and speckled trout reported.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today.
