Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies with a high around 53F. We had north winds at 10 mph with higher gusts.

In Buxton at Cape Point there were puppy drum. In Frisco at Ramp 49 there were quite a few puppy drum.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies with a high near 60F. We had a light breeze this morning out of the north north west at 5 mph. The wind switched this afternoon to the southwest and picked up just a little, around 10 mph.

Cape Point had catches of puppy drum on grubs and bait. Frisco beach had puppy drum and a few sea mullet.

There is no inshore report for today. There were yellowfin and blackfin tunas caught offshore today. There were good catches of albacore also and a 250lb shark released. A good catch of tilefish for those bottomfishing.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies. The winds were from the north at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.

Out at Cape Point in Buxton the puppy drum was scattered. A few puppy drum reported on the Hatteras beach.

There is no inshore report today. The offshore trolling was a little slow today but the bottom bite made up for it. There was a few blackfin tuna caught on jigs and the grouper and sea bass catches were good.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies with windy conditions. We did have a line of strong thunderstorms and some lighting with periods of heavy rain pass through in the late afternoon. The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures reached 71 degrees.

Out at Cape Point in Buxton there was some good puppy drum action this morning on mostly shrimp. This morning the puppy drum bite continues over on Ramp 49 in Frisco.

There is no inshore or offshore report today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny and clear skies with very warm temperatures. The winds were from the north-east this morning switching to the south-west at 5-10 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

Another real good puppy drum bite out at Cape Point today using jig’s with a few bites on shrimp . Ramp 49 in Frisco produced some decent catches of puppy drum.

There is no inshore report today. One boat did venture offshore and they caught amberjack and false albacore.
