Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had beautiful clear skies. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

We had decent puppy drum action out at Cape Point today. A few puppy drum were reported over on the Frisco beach around noon and later in the afternoon.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies with warmer temperatures. The winds were from the west north-west at 5-15 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 50’s.

The puppy drum bite out at Cape Point was really good today mostly on Berkley Gulp baits. Over Ramp 49 on the Frisco Beach we had decent puppy drum fishing at times of higher tides on shrimp and Berkley Gulp baits.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies with temperatures in the low 40’s. Winds were out of the north east, blowing 10 to 15 with higher gusts.

There was a few puppy drum reported at Cape Point in Buxton. Ramp 49, here in Frisco also had a few puppy drum.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies with a high around 46F. Winds were out of the north around 5 mph for most of the day, switching to the west south west and increasing to 12 mph.

The puppy drum bite continues at Ramp 49, mostly on bait. The Buxton beaches were slower today and a little grassy.

There is no inshore report for today.

There were a couple of offshore boats out looking for Bluefin tuna. They found a few blackfin tuna and scattered dolphin. The picture below is from Godspeed Charters with one of their blackfin tuna catches today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had a few rain showers off and on with increasing winds in the afternoon. The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph increasing to 20-30 mph in the afternoon. The temperatures were in the mid 40’s

Today the puppy drum bite was really good out at Cape Point. Over on the Frisco Beach today there were some decent catches of puppy drum reported using mostly shrimp with a few folks fishing with artificial grubs.

There is no inshore or offshore report today.
