    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a nice day, a little cloudy with a high around 60F.  Hardly any wind at all.  This evening a little breeze out of the east-south-east at 5-10 mph.

    Buxton reports lots of puppy drum, from the jetties to Cape Point.  There has also been some reports of speckled trout along the beaches.

    No inshore or offshore boats out today, but some commercial boats have reported catches of speckled trout in the sound.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had clear skies with a high near 54F.  We hadwinds out of the west, switching to the west-north-west 5-15 mph.

    On the Buxton beach, from Ramp 43 to Cape Point, puppy drum were caught.  There were also some big sharks at Cape Point.

    No inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had lots of wind and rain in the afternoon.  The winds were from the south-west at 20-35 mph with gusts to 48 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s. 

    On the Buxton beaches and out at Cape  there were speckled trout and a few puppy drum caught.  The flounder bite was decent  too.

    No inshore or offshore boats out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with some rain and warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the south-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s. 

    On the Buxton beaches there were speckled trout and a few puppy drum caught.  Out at Cape Point the puppy drum bite was good with plenty of sharks and skates also caught.  Over on the Frisco beach some decent puppy drum were reported.

    No inshore boats out today.  The offshore blackfin tuna fishing was really good today.

    Today we had decent weather with mostly  sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s. 

    With the nicer weather some speckled trout and  puppy drum were reported on the Buxton beaches.

    No boats out inshore but the offshore live and dead bait king mackerel fishing was really good..
